What age groups are your Birthday Party packages suitable for?
The birthday child needs to be between 3-8 years old but generally there are always one or two younger or older relatives plus we also try to entertain the adults as well.
How much do you charge?
The reason we don’t put prices on the website is because there are too many variables involved including travel costs, length of show etc. Send us an email to magicandpunch@hotmail.co.uk or phone us with your requirements and we can give you a price.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of children for Birthday Parties?
We can adapt the package to meet your requirements but generally speaking a minimum number of 12 children aged between 3-8 years old is recommended. There is no maximum number of children.
Is a Bouncy Castle suitable at my party?
There are 4 main problems with bouncy castles alongside our shows which include the space they take up, the noise of the blower, the distraction they create for the children and many castle suppliers don’t allow face paints on them. If you do decide to also book a bouncy castle it would need to be turned off during the show or we can offer Mix ‘n’ Mingle entertainment instead of a static show.
How do I know you will turn up?
We do this full time and have been for over 20 years, in this time we have never not arrived for a show.
How far do you travel?
We are based near Wellingborough, Northamptonshire and for schools and outdoor events we basically cover the whole of the UK. For birthday parties we generally go up to a 40 mile radius but it is always best to check with us first because this can be extended if possible.
Do you only cater for children?
Although we are primarily children’s entertainers, Chris is an experienced Magician and a member of the Magic Circle so he can provide Close-Up/Walkabout Magic for adults at Weddings, Anniversaries, Corporate Events etc.
Is Punch & Judy suitable for Primary School children?
Chris attends 100’s of Primary Schools each year with his Punch & Judy shows and workshops, many of which rebook year after year. He has a specially adapted school friendly show so there is no need to worry.
My child is very shy, is your birthday party package still suitable?
We always try to make the birthday child the “star of the show” but if they are more comfortable just watching with the other children we just adapt the routines accordingly.
