Chris Cullen got the bug for Magic when at the age of 11 a relative showed him a card trick. This simple trick took him on a magical journey where he has been a BBC Warm-Up, has been all over the world with his touring Illusion Show to now presenting magic in it’s truest form right in front of your eyes.
At social gatherings there can be awkward moments with family members and friends who haven’t met up for years. Close-Up Magic can be a great ice breaker in these circumstances to entertain the guests and create great memories. Whether your event is for adults only or families with children, outside in a garden or indoors at a venue Chris has the experience to adapt to all circumstances. It can be performed at the Drinks Reception when there is free time while the photos are being taken, table magic during the Wedding Breakfast and a great bridge between the afternoon event and the evening guests arriving.
As well as performing Close-Up around the tables you can also have a mini Magic Caberet show which is normally performed on the dance floor which includes audience participation, comedy magic and magic performed to music.
Chris can also provide a children’s magic show in a separate room while the speeches are going on.

Chris is an experienced puppeteer and a long time member of the Punch & Judy fellowship.
This traditional puppet show is loved by both adults and children alike and can be performed outside in the garden or inside the venue itself.
The show includes all the fun of the seaside with a red & white stripy booth and sausage munching crocodile.
Julie is an experienced balloon modeller and this can be demonstrated at the tables where the guests can also have a go at making their own creations, this is a great ice breaker to get your guests into the party spirit.
It can also be performed as a walkabout option which works perfectly as an addition to the Close-Up magic performed by Chris.
